This energy policy applies to:

  • Our current polyester yarn production facilities and all future investments,
  • All employees working within Güven Boya,
  • All stakeholders of Güven Boya, including suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and personnel involved in contracts with other organizations.

Policy and Commitments

In the areas of polyester (POY/FDY) yarn, polyester textured yarn, yarn twisting, and Masterbatch dyeing, we commit to:

  • Energy Efficiency and Performance: We define energy performance indicators (EnPI) for production capacity, processes, and supporting facilities, continuously review the baseline (EnB), and implement projects aimed at improving energy efficiency.
  • Sustainability: We aim to reduce energy consumption, decrease greenhouse gas emissions, minimize environmental impacts, and continuously improve. Relevant KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are set, regularly reported to senior management, and monitored for performance.
  • Innovative Technologies: We support the use of energy-saving technologies and renewable energy sources, considering energy efficiency as a key criterion in R&D and modernization projects. Our approach is also reflected in selecting all state-of-the-art equipment for our newly established company.
  • Legal and Other Obligations: We commit to full compliance with all energy-related requirements, including national legislation, international standards, customer requirements, and industry obligations.
  • Participation and Awareness: Senior management ensures that the necessary financial, technical, and human resources are available to achieve energy management objectives. Employees are educated on energy efficiency, and active participation is encouraged through suggestion mechanisms.
  • Energy-Efficient Procurement and Design: We prioritize energy efficiency when procuring new machinery, equipment, and services. Production processes are designed to support energy efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Our energy policy is communicated to all employees, made understandable, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Training is provided to increase employee awareness of energy efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Energy management system performance is reviewed in Management Review meetings and regular evaluations of maintenance and production processes. Necessary resources for continuous improvement are provided.

This policy is applied by all our employees, is accessible to relevant stakeholders, and forms part of our organization’s vision for sustainable production.
