Purpose

As Güven Boya, being a large-scale organization in polyester yarn production, we recognize the health and safety of our employees as a primary value. We are committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions across all our operations to prevent work-related injuries and occupational diseases. This policy is prepared in accordance with the scope, scale, context, and the nature of occupational health and safety (OHS) risks and opportunities relevant to our organization.

Scope

This occupational health and safety policy applies to:

  • Our current polyester yarn production facilities and all future investments,
  • All employees working within Güven Boya,
  • All stakeholders of Güven Boya, including suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and personnel involved in contracts with other organizations.

Policy and Commitments

In all areas of our operations, we commit to:

  • Ensuring all occupational health and safety practices are fully compliant with current national legislation and relevant standards.
  • Identifying hazards, analyzing risks, and implementing appropriate preventive measures to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
  • Establishing a systematic and measurable framework for setting OHS objectives.
  • Continuously reviewing the OHS management system, adapting to evolving technologies and practices, and pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Providing all necessary resources—including training, equipment, personal protective gear, technical, and managerial support—to maintain safe working environments.
  • Delivering regular OHS training to all employees according to their roles, ensuring awareness and ongoing engagement with OHS practices.
  • Encouraging employee participation and feedback on OHS matters and supporting open communication channels.
  • Preparing for potential emergencies through scenario planning, drills, and regular equipment checks to prevent possible accidents.
  • Ensuring that all subcontractors and visitors comply with OHS rules within our workplace.
