Environmental Policy

Purpose

As Gaziantep Güven Boya İnşaat Yapı Malz. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., we are a large-scale polyester yarn manufacturer operating in the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. We are aware of the environmental impacts of our activities. In this regard, our primary objective is to ensure the efficient use of natural resources, develop environmentally friendly production processes, and reduce our adverse environmental impacts by acting in line with sustainable production principles.

Through this policy, based on the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System standards, we aim to systematically embed environmental protection awareness into all our processes, continuously improve our environmental performance, and contribute to sustainable development.

Scope

This environmental policy covers:

• Our existing polyester yarn production facility and future investments,
• All employees of Güven Boya,
• All stakeholders of Güven Boya, including suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and personnel involved in contracts with other organizations.

Policy and Our Commitments

Compliance with Legal Standards

We fully comply with all national environmental legislation and relevant international standards such as ISO 14001 and GRS (Global Recycled Standard).

Continuous Improvement

We effectively implement the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and aim to continuously improve our system by regularly reviewing our performance.

Waste Management and Resource Efficiency

We aim to minimize waste generated during production processes and optimize the use of raw materials and natural resources.

Energy Efficiency

We prioritize energy conservation and reduce our energy consumption by using high-efficiency equipment and processes.

Recycling and Disposal

We work with licensed companies to ensure that all waste generated in our operations is disposed of in compliance with regulations; whenever possible, we contribute to recycling efforts. For hazardous and non-hazardous waste, we have constructed temporary storage areas in full compliance with legal requirements to prevent environmental pollution caused by waste leakage.

Employee Participation and Training

We provide regular training to raise environmental awareness among our employees and encourage their active participation in developing an environmentally responsible approach.

Allocation of Resources and Budget

We allocate the necessary resources and budget to ensure the effective implementation of our Environmental Management System and guarantee its sustainability.

Communication and Transparency

We clearly communicate our environmental policy to all employees and stakeholders and ensure that it is understandable and accessible through internal and external communication channels.

As Güven Boya, we are committed to adopting the Environmental Management System in all our processes, fulfilling our environmental responsibilities, using natural resources efficiently, and minimizing the environmental impacts of our production processes. This policy has been established in accordance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standards and serves as a guideline for all our employees and suppliers.
